Executive Functioning Camp Level 2

This is a 7-week camp that focuses on:

  • Procrastination
  • Perseverance
  • Setting and Reaching Goals
  • Making S.M.A.R.T goals
  • Social Filter
  • Prioritizing

Executive functioning is a set of skills that we use daily to learn, work, and accomplish everyday tasks. These include skills such as working memory, flexible thinking, impulse control and paying attention. When we have trouble with executive functioning we may have difficulty paying attention, focusing, learning new skills, remembering tasks, demonstrating knowledge that we know, staying regulated, and managing day-to-day life.

In the level 2 camp, the clients will get to know their peers in their group, and The OT will facilitate practice of: learning about goals, using our social filters, how to make S.M.A.R.T goals, showing perseverance when we are challenged, and procrastination and prioritizing.
